Recently, the German iF Design Award, known as the 'Oscar' of the design world, announced its 2024 winners.It is reported that this year's competition received nearly 11,000 entries from 56 countries/regions. After an online preliminary selection and evaluation by 91 international expert judges, a total of 3,770 works were awarded, including 75 pieces receiving the highest honor—the iF Gold Award (iF Gold AWARD). Gold Award
Artemide IXA - High Power LED Lamp Customer/Manufacturer: Artemide S.p.A. Design: Foster + Partners IXA is a high-power LED lamp, co-designed with Artemide, offering versatile lighting configurations for task, decorative, and ambient settings. Inspired by Alexander Calder's sculptures, it interprets the concept of 'elegant balance' through precision engineering. IXA provides a flexible, personalized lighting experience; it is an eternal product with refined aesthetics. This lamp is unique in its design, offering a human-centric approach to Lighting design. The lamp is available in three configurations: table, floor, and wall-mounted, with four color options. SparkShape PARIS Customer/Manufacturer: Ambright GmbH München, DE Design: Simon Busse Studio PARIS was created in the tension between minimalist formal language and technical precision. Two flat surfaces converge at a single point, outlined by white light. It deliberately adopts the prototype of a traditional chandelier, cleverly offering multiple lighting options including uplight, downlight, and ambient light. All are achieved in an efficient and elegant manner that complements various interiors.
