The 21st China Road Lighting Forum

Spring tides surge, gathering momentum at the Qiantang River! The "21st China Road Lighting Forum", hosted by the China Association of Lighting Industry, is scheduled to be grandly held in Hangzhou from April 15 to 17, 2026. Since its inception in 2005, the forum has successfully held twenty sessions. As a core platform for industry exchange, it has played a pivotal role in advancing the development of the road lighting sector. To comprehensively present the development trajectory of the forum and the evolution of the industry, we have systematically compiled the core information from all previous forums and highlights from the last ten sessions, reviewing the industry's development journey while showcasing the forum's cohesion and influence within the industry.

As the longest-standing, highest-specification, and most authoritative industry event in China's road lighting sector, the forum has, after two decades of accumulation, become a core hub connecting policy guidance with industrial practice, and linking technological innovation with engineering applications. It has witnessed and led the high-quality transformation of China's road lighting from traditional lighting to green, intelligent, and diversified integration.

The forum has built a full industry chain exchange and cooperation platform integrating government, industry, academia, research, and application, bringing together municipal management departments, research institutions, enterprises, and other stakeholders to promote the sharing of technology, experience, and resources. In terms of technological innovation, the forum focuses on cutting-edge fields such as LED applications, intelligent control, and smart street lighting, accelerating the transformation of new technologies and driving the industry's transition from traditional lighting to green and intelligent solutions. In terms of standards and quality, the forum facilitates discussions and summaries to help improve road lighting standards and enhance the standardization of engineering design and implementation. Meanwhile, the forum actively responds to the "Dual Carbon" strategy by promoting energy-saving technologies and products, reducing industry energy consumption, and advancing green development. In addition, the forum cultivates industry talent, guides development directions, promotes industrial upgrading, enhances the quality of urban road lighting, creates a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient nighttime travel environment, and supports the construction of smart cities and new urbanization.

Over the past twenty years of the China Road Lighting Forum, we have received care and support from both within and outside the industry, as well as from all sectors of society. 2026 (21st) China Road Lighting Forum

This forum, themed "Resilience, Livability, Integration, and Innovation", will deeply focus on key topics such as low-carbon transition pathways under the dual carbon goals, the coordinated construction of smart lampposts and urban infrastructure, the digital operation and maintenance upgrade of road lighting, and the iteration of industry standards and quality control. Leaders from relevant national ministries and commissions, top industry experts and scholars, and leaders of leading enterprises in the industrial chain will be invited to gather. Through policy interpretation, keynote speeches, case sharing, exchange and discussion, and special training, the forum will address the pain points of industry development, share cutting-edge practical achievements, build an efficient docking platform for government-enterprise collaboration and the integration of industry, academia, and research, help improve the level of refined urban management, and empower the quality and efficiency improvement of smart city construction.

Recently, we have received inquiries from member units and local street lighting management departments regarding an organization issuing notices in the industry under the name of the "China Road Lighting Conference." Hereby, we solemnly remind you that the "China Road Lighting Forum", which has a 20-year history of hosting the event, has always been organized by the China Association of Lighting Industry.
